Papillex offers two nutritional supplements backed by research on HPV. These products aim to enhance immune response against viral threats.

In this article, we explore details about our supplements to help you determine which might be most suitable for you.

What to Know About Papillex™

Papillex™ is a nutritional supplement and immune supporter addressing nutrient deficiencies often found in those with HPV.

The supplement includes beta carotene, vitamin E, vitamin C, folate, selenium, and indole-3-carbinol. These nutrients are typically low in individuals with persistent HPV infections. Increasing these levels can improve HPV outcomes by providing antioxidant properties and inhibiting cancer cell growth.

Papillex™ also contains immune-modulating compounds like astragalus, reishi, and green tea extract. Known for their potent anti-viral properties, these ingredients activate the immune system to fight infections.

This supplement supports general health and could be beneficial if your diet is low in fruits and vegetables, if you have nutrient absorption issues, or if you're under significant stress. Papillex™ is not recommended during pregnancy due to its Vitamin A content, which can affect fetal development.

Dosage: If you are HPV positive and/or have cervical dysplasia, take two capsules twice daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, 2-3 hours away from food. As dysplasia improves and HPV is cleared, reduce the dosage to 2 capsules once a day for maintenance and general immune support.

What to Know About AHCC®

AHCC® is a recent addition to the Papillex line, introduced in 2020. Research supports its use in eliminating high-risk HPV infections. This supplement features a mushroom extract derived from the shiitake mushroom and is produced exclusively by Amino Up Chemical Co. in Japan.

AHCC® acts on the immune system by activating molecules such as cytokines, NK cells, and dendritic cells, thereby promoting a healthy immune response to viral threats.

We continue to explore AHCC®'s applications. It has been studied for its effectiveness in eradicating viral infections, including HPV. In a randomized control trial, participants taking AHCC® for 3-6 months achieved a 66.7% clearance rate of high-risk HPV infection, compared to the general population's expected clearance rate of 0-10%.

While AHCC® is generally well-tolerated and supports overall health, its strong immune-stimulating effects may be too stimulating for those with autoimmune conditions. This supplement may be suitable if you're prone to colds, flu, or frequent infections.

Dosage: If you have an active HPV infection and signs of cervical dysplasia, take 2 capsules twice daily, away from food, for 3-6 months. Then, reduce the dosage to 2 capsules daily for another 3-6 months. AHCC® has not been studied for extended use beyond one year.

Before purchasing AHCC, ensure the product has a registered TM or R sign next to its name. Products without this label are not sourced from the original AHCC source and do not contain the compounds tested in clinical trials.

The Power Couple

You can also take AHCC® and Papillex™ together for enhanced support. The combination provides both micronutrient and additional immune support against HPV.

How Do I Know If It’s Working?

Determining the effectiveness of your supplements can be challenging. Herbal and nutritional supplements work slowly and gently, requiring time and consistent use to show results, making it difficult to assess their impact. We suggest monitoring basic indicators like energy levels, frequency of illness, dysplasia levels from Pap tests, and HPV status to evaluate how your supplementation is working for you!
