Now this is rather new, innovating, and interesting, instead of buying an assembled underwater drone like the Gladius Mini or Fifish V6, you could instead buy your own kit and assemble it yourself to save money if you're into that sort of thing. This would also allow you to modify the design as the technology improves, both the software and hardware is open-source.
This CPS 5 is the 5th version by the company, they will start shipping orders by late November 2020. And of course if you don't want to assemble it yourself, you can pick the option of preassembled kit on Ebay. looks to be a very similar layout like the Gladius Mini, very hydrodynamic, no thrusters sticking out so the tether slides right over them, I really like the design. Curious though, what type of controller you would use with this underwater drone?
There's a website http://cpsdrone.com, if you have any questions or want more details about this open source underwater drone. The CPS company claims you can operated everything with your smartphone connected to the remote controller, which I haven't seen any pictures of. CPS 5 is also on Allegro.
